Every match awards points from a single bucket — they don't stack:
- Exact score — predicted score equals the actual score (the top bucket:
5in Default,10in Baller). - Goal difference — winner correct AND goal diff correct, e.g. predicted 2–1, actual 3–2 (
3/5). - Sign 1X2 — only the winner / draw is right (
2/3). - Whiff — wrong winner →
0 pts.
The base points are then multiplied by the per-match bonus (×1 · ×2 · ×3) set in the Match Bonuses tab.
2 · GD Deviation
When the slider is above 0%, partially-correct GD predictions still earn some of the GD bucket instead of dropping straight to the Sign bucket:
softened = floor(gd_pts × (1 − desvio_pct × |predicted_GD − actual_GD|))
Safety clamp: the softened score never falls below the Sign payout — a correct winner always pays at least Sign points.
3 · Classification (group standings)
Once the group stage finishes, each user gets points for the teams they predicted at each position in all 12 groups. Plus a qualifies bonus for each of their predicted top-2 teams that actually advance to the Round of 32.
4 · Podium (auto-derived)
Champion, Runner-up and Third place are read straight from each player's bracket (winner / loser of match 104 and the winner of match 103). No manual picks needed.
5 · Award picks
Two mandatory top-3 picks (Golden Boot, Golden Ball / MVP) plus an optional Top 3 Assistants category (toggle on the right).
Worked example
Predicted 2–1, actual 3–1. Winner ✓, GD off by 1, GD Deviation 50%, match bonus ×2:
- Bucket: GD (winner right, GD wrong) → softened
- softened = floor(5 × (1 − 0.5 × 1)) = floor(2.5) = 2 pts
- 2 < sign (3), so clamp to sign → 3 pts
- × bonus 2 → 6 pts final
📊 Group Classification picks
Auto-derived per group from each player's match predictionsAfter the group stage finishes, each user gets points for the teams they predicted at each position in each of the 12 groups. The qualifies bonus is awarded for any predicted team that actually advances to the Round of 32.
🎯 Partial-pairing credit
Half points when you got just one of the two teams rightKeeps a blown bracket alive. If your predicted KO matchup never actually met but one of your two teams really plays in that round, you still score the scoreline ladder against their real match — at half (rounded down), times that match's bonus. Wrong-result picks still earn nothing.
🥅 KO tiebreaker bonus
Adds on top of an Exact regulation score in a pens-decided KOWhen a KO match goes to a tiebreaker, the user can earn extra points beyond just nailing the regulation score: one for picking the method (extra time vs pens), one for picking which team advances. Both stack on top of the Exact bucket.
⚖️ Round multipliers
Set a default ×N per round, capped — admins can soften, never exceedThe recommended caps below use a steady progression: KO rounds gradually get heavier. Per-fixture overrides (in the Match Bonuses tab) honour the same caps.
🚀 Advancement points
Reward for each team you correctly named to reach a KO roundIndependent of whether your matchup or score was right — name a team to reach a round and, if they do, you score. The 🥉 3rd-place game reward pays when a team your bracket knocks out in the semis reaches the bronze final. (Reaching the R32 is paid by the “qualifies” bonus in Classification.)
⚡ Per-match bonus
Make specific fixtures worth double or tripleTag matches you want to be worth more (e.g. mark the Final as ×3). The multiplier is applied AFTER the match scoring buckets.
⭐ Team multipliers
Make every match a team plays worth moreBoost all matches of a team (e.g. your country ×2) — group stage and knockouts, whichever round they reach. When a match already carries a per-round or per-match multiplier, the bigger one wins (they don't stack). Capped at ×3. Changes apply to matches scored from now on — already-finished games keep their points.
